Hi Guys,

Just need clarification on this one,

Queen's Gurkha Signals, is this an OR's / SNCO or Officer issue?

Just putting the final touches to this project so hopefully won't be long now.

Thanks ,

Bill

Same style as the R Sigs Officers Bullion Beret Badge, also worn by WO1's but I think the standard beret for QGS is Dark Blue, and this seems to be a Dark Green backing?

Default Cloth Beret Badge Project.

Dear Friends

Can any member please advise me of what the Blue Backed Royal Signals badge is under the numeral reference 28 in Bill's pamphlet?

I have asked Bill if he has any information and he thinks it is a ACF badge.

If anybody has one of these for sale I would be most grateful to hear. Failing that an image would be appreciated.

As this badge is very similar to the OR's cloth badge of 68 Inns of Court and 70 (Essex) Yeomanry Signal Squadron but on a blue backing, I rather thought it may be a cloth version of 94 (Berkshire) Yeomanry Signals Squadron which they used to use up to the end of the 1990s and then changed to an A/A badge with a Blue backing which is still used today.

Any one with a good photo or information as to where I might acquire one I would be most grateful. Home email address is ormer@vraic.freeserve.co.uk

Best wishes

Hi Billy,

These usually go for anything between £5 and £10.

Hope this helps,

Bill
