Default Need help genuine or fakes !

I'm new to this and have brought a couple now an worried they may be fake

The Gloucesters is a dud but the RAOC and RA are fine but appear to have been extensively cleaned. The RA is 1917 variety with the wire reinforcing behind the scroll.

Thank you for the reply there was also a krrc corps one I the brought is there any advice you could give me as iv just really started collecting eg how to tell a fake an that seems to be abit of a mind field out there thanks

Hi Chris, My advise is to use the dealers recommended by others, Militaria fairs are a good way to start as you can see & handle the badges before you part with any cash. it's also a great way to glean knowledge from other collectors. choose a field and try and learn about the regimental badges in that field rather than just trying to collect everything, you can always branch out later on. regards John

Thank you all an cheers John for the advice good idea will will start with the RA as my grandad was royal artillery 45th field artillery in Korea
