Default Hallmarked Gurkha Silver badges

Oh Dear ! - "Hallmarked Silver" Gurkha badges - no photograph of the "hallmark" - at best they are silver plated copies of reproduction badges.

It's our mate from International Militaria again.
Nice to see hes that knowledgeable about his badges he uses a 6th GR badge without the 6 as his RGR "silver" badge.
If the hallmarks are "genuine" hes trying to use them to legitimize his fake badges.

Was there a result from the assay office? I believe someone reported him.

Convenient he’s not showing the back now.

My take is that the assay office only will only say if the item is actually silver nothing to do its authenticity. So you could present them with a silver item that you've made in your garage. As long as the item is made from silver they will hallmark it as silver .
