Silver Cap Badges on eBay
I know the chap selling these badges has been mentioned on here before. Is what he is doing legal ? The badges are marked " IM 925 Anchor " IM being International Militaria. I noticed a Grenadier Guards OR's grenade in silver with these marks today. But as most of you know, The Grenadier Guards OR's never wore a silver grenade. He has done all the Guards badges, and even The Guards Machine Gun Regiment. Which has been done using a fake donor badge. Can anything be done to stop this ? Or is he ok doing it ?

the anchor is Birmingham hallmarking, so I assume if he was doing it legally they have to send the badges there to get that done and of course would need a date letter as well, to be able to sell them

This seller is quickly turning into the new badgeman2000. Last week or two he’s vastly expanded his line of repro badge offerings.

Trading standards. The same people that prosecuted Badgeman.
The assay office in Birmingham said that a year mark isnt a mandatory requirement. |

Yes Mike, I might see what Trading Standards think.
