Default 36th SIKHS

What Cap Badge would a British Officer with 36 Sikhs wear WW1? Where can I view one?

Are the collar dogs in this picture 36 Sikhs?

I think it highly likely that the "double bangle" device was the collar badge of the 36th Sikhs, as it seems to have been the central motif of their cap badge.

This "bangle", called the "Kara", is something that all Sikhs are supposed to wear at all times:

Hello BALA.

I think this may be what you are looking for.

Click the dealers link on the Forum and scroll down to Bosleys.

Click on online catalogue under the prices realised title.

Then click online catalogue and bidding.

Enter word Sikh into word/lot search.

Will bring up lot 744 .

Hope this is the one, sorry I don't know how to do a direct link (kids are all out)
Regards Tony.
