Italian Campaign
Great items shown in the new albums by cymro ,I have a couple of items made in Italy for The Kings:
An other ranks embroidered cloth title and an officers wire embroidered Headdress badge. Seems like there may have been a shortage of red cloth ! P.

This might be relevant as well.

Hi Peter - thanks for the kind words on the albums. I'm loading them up slowly but surely each day or so.
That Kings title is a rare one. In truth I've not come across one before, despite looking. The Kings/4 Div combo is a new one on me too. Not seen a slip on cut down like that before. Absolutely fascinating, and thank you very much for posting those up... |

Thanks cymro,
I have just remembered a mystery cloth badge that has puzzled be for some and thinking about the colour I am beginning to wonder if it was a connection with Italy. Peter

Certainly the colour would tally up wouldn't it. Not immediately apparent that its Italian made. Do you have a shot of the back?

Peter, the other possibility of your King's badge might be that it is medical related - at least the color of the backing on my PC indicates that possibility.

That is worth considering. Peter

If that's the case peter, then I am sure it's a fake so you should send it to me immediately so it doesn't contaminate your collection....and I know how to deal with it properly!!!!
