Default Unknown Polish Silver Breast Badge

Anyone recognise this Polish breast badge? I have hunted all over and can find no trace. It is a 2-part silver badge as can be seen from the pins showing on the back above the post screw these hod the Polish Eagle in place also an unusual mark on the back 23/VIII B. The badge measures 53mm by 30mm..

Any information greatefully received.

Best wishes

Robin

Hi Robin,
It’s a prewar badge of Prison Guard School graduates. Please find below a link to article where all badge variations are explained (in Polish).
