have i got a good Scottish horse badge here and is this an officers buckle?

now to find out what the buckle is?
i thought initially Inniskilling due to the castle but it has the cross and thistles of Scotland?
I’m confused?

Castle looks KOSB to me mate. That would obviously tie in with the cross and thistles, but not my thing so may be wrong.
