Now we have the Rangers badge "controversy" revealed to the public I'm waiting for a backlash against the Royal Lancers skull and crossbones.

Ooooh it just gets better.........

I'm at a bit of a loss for suggesting an alternative badge design though.

Even though it does not appear to be liked, no doubt there will be many members of this forum who will willingly add one to their collection. I wonder how long it will be before an example appears on eBay and what the hammer price will be?

Dave.

I copied this some time ago and cannot remember where from.

Marc

It is unknown if regimental titles will be transferred. However, the maintaining of the cap badge and traditions has been confirmed. The battalions are planned to be "all-arms" battalions and be open for anyone in the Army.

It would be good if the badge looked like a peregrine, just for starters.

Dross ............ I've seen better designs on public lavatory walls.

I agree.

The first in the queue for a new iPhone syndrome. No doubt the prices for the first few will be scandalous, and yet people will pay it just to be amongst the first. Then inevitably after a few months they’ll be a few quid and near factory cost.

The artworks i remember was legs akimbo & spurting cock and balls with marker pen, I suppose you two must use the same public loo as Banksy 😬

I think they should have used a full body wolf as their badge and a full 'Ranger Regiment' scroll.
