What period is this badge from? It has a glue back.

It doesn’t look British to me in the sense that I’ve never seen a wreath with just a single row of leaves. The colouration is right though. Perhaps a New Zealand item, as unlike Australia NZ has stayed quite closely aligned with a lot of their uniform, apart from distinctive features introduced to reflect Maoris culture.

Was there a “Red” Devil’s Head about the size of a Thumbnail to denote Sniper in the British Army?
