Default Help with research on WW2 Canadian Medic

A Canadian friend here in the UK is trying to find out any info on his grandfather - William Eaton - who served with the 24th Field Ambulance
5th Armoured Division, Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps during WW2. Number B5091. I know the unit was here in the UK for training and then deployed to Italy.

Would anybody be able to help with some more info. It will be much appreciated as he wishes to make a tribute to him for the 75th Anniversary of the war. Many thanks.

Dudley

Hi Dudley, The service records can be accessed through Library and Archives Canada. Here is a link the the web site that contains instructions on searches.
