Default 2nd Camerons 4th Indian Division

An epaulette slip on badged to a Cameron Highlander serving with the 4th Indian Division. The 2nd Camerons were attached to the 4th Indian Division, and I was wondering wether the square shape of the tartan swatch is to be considered as a battalion device or not just the most practical solution when sewing it to the slip on loop: as a matter of fact, the Cameron Highlanders tartan strip was supposed to be an oblong three inch wide an 1 and 1/4 inch deep.
