Default The British and Commonwealth Military Badge Forum

Hi Griff

I apologise for missing the point you are trying so hard to make but I have really believed these past few years that these pages are really all about The British and Commonwealth Military Badge Forum.
I suspect relatively few members of the forum will even recognise the names you are posting and most of those will care even less.
We can all be proud of our heritage but taken to extreme it could be deemed almost offensive. Please show me a clear and uncluttered connection between what this forum is all about and the possibility that the British Lions will have a few Welsh players in the team and I will be the first to apologise for doubting your loss of focus.
Have you even considered that the Lions will get a hammering? Where do you think we will lay the blame if that happens?

I remain your friend,

Best wishes

Gordon

Gordon brings up a good point about the Lions being hammered!

Which as an Aussie I'm sure is what will happen

As it's been posted, I'll just add my little bit.

I reckon you're not far off there Griff.......There's a slight chance that Courtney Lawes could get in I think, can play 2nd Row or 6 and is just the hard man that may be needed....but just as easily get a yellow card.

And I most definitely agree, Johnny Wilkinson, good choice of young Farrell as a 12, my plan exactly.

Regards.

Brian

Gordon

All in the best possible taste.... and Rugby spirit (those of us that do care) I am sure that our antipodean cousins are made of sterner stuff ..... and do not have such delicate dispositions. We are sending possibly the strongest ever Lions squad to Oz...... the only worry is prep' time for the Squad.

Brian

With two hours to go it looks like the hype around Wilko' ..... is just hype. Great player (still)...... but a relic of the past.

I think Lawes is a bit of a loose cannon and would not be a man to trust on the penalty count..... he is easily wound up....and winds himself up a bit too much.

I feel that this Lions tour will be very Celtic (and rightly so)

Great win for the Lions...... just about to watch the game, listened to it on the radio though. Looking forward to seeing how close the North try was.... that was not given! It was a bit squeaky at the end...... Beale must have slipped or something?
