Sten magazine measurements.
Completely off topic I know but I didn't know where to post this. Has anyone with a knowledge of firearms got the measurements of the top of a Sten gun mag.? I need to know if it will fit into the magazine well of a Mauser C96 that has been converted to 9mm. Any help appreciated.

Oh dear Mike, politics!
I came back onto the forum to get away from the doom and gloom, I'm consoling myself with the fact that it equates to a Tenner onto the price of a meduim size flat screen tv which is fine by me as I'm always on here doing something far more interesting. Fill your boots its your forum! Kind regards Ry |

Thanks for that.. it might just go. Here's my Christmas present to myself. A mint 1930 C96 with all matching numbers, original Commercial holster, wood stock/holster with leathers and cleaning rod and a 1923 Schnellfeuer with 10 and 20 round mags.
