Default The SAS White beret

Does anyone know anything about this apparently short-lived SAS headdress?

Where was it made? Who if anybody authorised it? When was it introduced/worn?

I know it has been discussed before on the Berets thread but that did not seem to shed much light on the subject.

Any help appreciated.

Jon
