I've just spotted this. Always worth contacting me direct as I have little time to spend browsing these days. Pakenham served as part of the cycle detachment - really very innovative in those days - guarding the Queen in her tours around Dublin. Awarded the Royal Victorian Medal in bronze. Head Constable in the RIC later, and then RUC, also one of the first two men to be awarded the British Empire Medal in the RUC. Died 1958. PM me if you want further info.
