Default 1902 British Royal Navy officer's cap badge

Can anyone out there tell me whether the KC badge which replaced the long standing QVC one in 1902 was ever available in brass?

Default 1902 British Royal Navy officer's cap badge

Hi

1WW Officer's cap badges are known in bronze, for example Royal Naval Division, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve and Royal Naval Air Service. Also a bronze Royal Naval Division Chief Petty Officer's cap badge Similar design to a modern Petty Officer's cap badge (without the laurel leaves).

Brass KC beret badges are known for CPOs and POs but 2WW, any metal KC officer's badges would have been gilt metal, of which examples are known.
