Default Tower Hamlets FSC badge backing?

Can anyone confirm if the backing with this Tower Hamlets FSC badge is correct or a fantasy?
Thanks Tony.

It is Alan en route to Liverpool as we speak, just to confirm "yes" correct or fantasy?
Cheers Tony.

Hi Tony, not aware of any backing for the Tower Hamlets.

Tony,
I acquired the FSC badge recently. I would have thought a coloured ribbon backing unlikely on a rifle green FSC?

The backing appears to be a piece of grosgrain as used for Pagri flashes on FSH or WW2 slouch hats.
Those colors are not associated with the Tower Hamlets Rifles to my knowledge.
Nice badge though!

The FSC badges are quite rare. As has been said the badge and the ribbon may not be a pair.

In 1941 the 3rd Bn Tower Hamlets Rifles were converted to the 5 Bn The Reconnaissance Corps whose colours were green and yellow. As a Recce Bn they wore khaki berets and your badge may be for the beret with the Recce Corps colours as a badge backing.

Great info Jon, love this forum, always learning. Makes sense now on the backing, possibly not the FSC badge worn in the beret ?? a full size cap badge ?? But a great link none the less.

Additional information, on reading I would think its not beyond the realms of fantasy the FSH was worn with this flash and badge!
