Royal Signals Bullion Badge
Hello All, 2 Questions if I may.
1. Is the pictured badge OK ? 2. This might make some people shudder, the second question, is there a safe way to clean this badge without destroying it ? (Providing it's a goodun.) Regards Phil. |

Hi Phil
Im now home from the RSL Museum and have looked out the cleaning material. Its a small block of "Chux" Micro Abrasian Scuff Buster. It is block of 8 small blocks of white soft squishy (if that's a word ?) material kind of plastic like, sorry that's the best I can do. You will get it at Coles or Woolies or similar (they are supermarkets for those who don't know). Just break off a small block, moisten it a bit and use a gentle rubbing action, that's not an aggressive scrubbing action. Less is more ! See how you go and give us all an update. Good luck mate. Regards The other one. |

Thanks very much Phil, will give it a try. First have to get to Coles or Woolies there are none here in Queenstown, but will have a look around the local IGA.

Thanks Phil, It shouldn't be too hard to find, I'm travelling to Hobart today, so I am sure to get some down there. Thanks for the thought mate.
Best wishes, Phil. |
