106 Winnipeg L.I (fake or good)

Hi Gents,
Would like your opinions on this solid backed 106 Winnipeg Light Infantry badge whether it's good or bad.
I haven't seen one like this before and am unsure if it's a cap or a collar.
The badge is 38mm tall x 37mm wide.
