I suggest it was a composite and temporary unit of mainly logistic and communication specialists set up towards the end of Op BANNER to support the drawdown of units and the transition of HQ Northern Ireland to 38 (Irish) Brigade. Probably located in Lisburn with some detachments elsewhere. There was a large amount of vehicles, kit and real estate to be recovered, moved or disposed of.
