Default Iain Davidson

Guys,
I'm sure that many of you have heard, but for those who haven't, Iain Davidson (pukman) passed away suddenly on Tuesday 22nd of November.

A good friend, who was honest and generous in all that he did, with an amazing knowledge and collection of images which he loved to share and research.

He was a great contributor to this forum for many years, and his facebook page "Unknown Warriors of the NZEF" I'm sure helped and touched many lives with the research he did.

A very sadly loss, and our thoughts go out to his wife and 4 sons.

His death notice was published today in the Southland Times, and gives a time and location of his commemoration.

All the best
James.

James,

I can only agree 100% with what you said. I have communicated, traded, gone over images with puk for 30 odd years. A top bloke who will be missed not only by family and friends, but the community in which he lived, and the research and collecting fellowship. RIP Puk

Only exchanged a few messages with him over the years but always found him approachable and happy to help.

Sad news indeed...
