Default Unidentified patch-WW2? WW1 ?

This patch came out of an auction lot of mainly WW2 badges I have shown it in two Orientations. I can’t find it in my WW1 reference books so I think WW2 or later. It’s made in 3 parts sewn together. 1 and1/2 inches by 2 inches

Any help identifying it would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Mark
