Default 1st Carmarthenshire Fuzileers Local Militia

Hello Chaps,

I'm always excited to add a new Militia button to my collection but even more so when it's Local Militia as I have a particular fondness for these rare buttons.

So my latest addition is a splendid 1st Royal Carmarthenshire Fuzileers example (Ripley #18) in gilt. No backmark on this example.

Cheerio,

Roy

A very fine addition. I live in the county, but I don't see these for sale locally.

Thanks you for your kind words gents.

It's a slow process with just a few buttons a year but well worth while, especially in regards these early/rare buttons, a joy to find.

Cheerio,

Roy

Hi Kevin,

Really splendid, thanks for sharing.

I have not seen a silvered example before, so now I have to add that to my list of ones to look out for.

Cheerio,

Roy
