WWII 1st Glider Pilot Wing?
After doing some research both on the forum and elsewhere I am undecided as to whether this wing is the genuine article or not. I would appreciate members opinions.
Thanks in anticipation. |

I dont think your Army Flying Badge is a genuine one.
Appears of modern Far East construction. regards

Hello Harry,
I certainly don't regard myself as an expert by any stretch of the imagination. However I have owned a couple of genuine examples of these and as already stated, I would give this one a very wide berth. Cheerio, Roy

No, it is not original, it appears to have been manufactured well after the badge ceased to be worn in the British Army, get a refund.

It is a rather obvious replica I'm afraid.

Thanks for all your input – that’s fairly unequivocal.
No refunds unfortunately! I’ve been going through old items in my collection and I’ve had this one that long I can’t even remember where I picked it up. But I will have a few more dubious items I’ll be uploading for inspection. |
