I have no idea what the Gaelic above means. I have posted this in case any members speak the language.

I came across this programme of BBC Radio 4 Extra. It is some sort of WW1 history of Scottish soldiers.

Every now and then it breaks out into English, usually giving the soldiers name and unit, and saying how and where he was killed:

I do hope we have proper Gaelic speakers amongst our members, bu in the meantime google translate comes up with this: What was happening in the First World War this century. By Gilleasbuig MacDonald.
