Default Finally retired

The day finally arrived, actually last month. Retirement at age 65. Enjoying time around the house and catching up on projects.

One thing on my list upon retirement was to thin out my collections. So you will see me listing various badges and formation signs in the weeks and months ahead.... I wanted to give forum members first shot at anything I am parting with. Not getting out of the hobby but trying to get things to a more manageable size.

Thanks to everyone that have responded to my listings so far.

Jack

Congratulations Jack!

It's always nice to have more free time dedicated to your hobby.

Hi Jack

Welcome to the age of retirement and entitlement.

The great thing is that every day ending in Y is a public holiday.

Regards Phil.

Congratulations Jack,
I'm a year older but still go in two days a week. All the various projects (eg badges!) I hadn't time for are coming out of the cupboard - but I still don't have enough time!

I have a nasty feeling that our children (let alone grandchildren) will only be able to retire well into their 70s
