Britain's Greatest Generation

I recorded the BBC 2 programme broadcast last night, 'Britain's Greatest Generation' and have just watched it. What a wonderful programme. Poignant and very humbling. It is so easy to forget how much we owe to the veterans of WW2. It was sad that some had died soon after being recorded for the broadcast...but how wonderful that they have left their stories for future generations and that we have finally understood that we need to record their stories before it is too late. Well done the BBC!
