5th VB Manchesters is an awful fake.

All I can tell you is that the K Lpl Regt is WO Pattern 10042/1926, authorised in October 1926. I was made obsolete in March 1950.

The Lambournes' one is desirable for the collectors who like their badges but in that case it is obviously wrong as the VB badges were on lugs.

The Kings (Liverpool & Manchester) on lugs is relatively modern compared tot he others.

How can a total fake badge be desirable to Lambourne Collectors??

Merely an observation that the mark is a prized collectible but as quoted it is totally wrong as the badge is a fake. It is not usual to see the mark on that particular fake.

Both Manchersters on the bottom row are fakes à la Martin Marsh catalogue. Note the spaced out goggle-eyed snub nosed antelope.
