Default 100th Foot (Leinsters) glengarry

Hi all,

I am hoping to sell this 100th Foot (Leinster Regiment) badge below here in the forum but before I list it up I would like to re-confirm that it looks good original one. Few collectors have seen it and they are happy with it. But just in case I post it up here too.

Any comments are welcome! Thanks!

Originals had brass loops, Timo. The so-called ‘Fox Re-strikes’ made correctly using original dies by an entrepreneur in the decade before 1900 had copper loops. I hope that helps.

Just from the photographs, I think I would be quite happy with that if I saw it in the flesh.

From the pictures it looks like as good as you'll get with glengarry badges.

Regards,

Dave
