Default unknown Oriental badge

would you know this mysterious badge with Arabic legend ?

I don't know what it is but guessing it may be an old Persian insignia of some sort. The shield is similar to some of the badges from the Shah's time. If Persian then the script will be in Farsi and not Arabic.

Have the translation. The writing says “مرکز پیاده” or “Infantry Centre”. An older Iranian army badge.
