Default Argyll Light Infantry

This clipping came in as part of a larger donation from the family of Col R.J. Graham, DSO, CD. Served in the Argyll Light Infantry 1940-41, retired 1960. Hard to see, but he is wearing the unique beret of the Argylls at that time.

Thnks for the post. The Argyll LI (Tank) were granted the dress distinction of wearing the dicing behind their badges. Clive published a full discussion of this on MilArt. https://servicepub.wordpress.com/201...ight-infantry/

I read Clive's MilArt post, but noticed he didn't have a picture of it in use. I thought I'd throw this one up for discussion.

Somewhere I have a couple of images from LAC with an officer in the SWW wearing the beret. He is at a "table" type exercise.
