Female bust left with bun hairstyle and tiara?
I have no provenance for this but has a North African look?

Roman lead seal 15 x 20mm 11.7 gm
Left facing female figure, left arm resting on rocks right arm above,
mermaids tail to left. I realise the difficulty in making out these images its actually easier when held in hand and viewing from all angles.

Ron

May I ask if coins are treated with a preservative? For a time I used Pure Virgin Oil but now have two minds over what is best for the coin without detracting visual appearance

Thanks

Hi, I only use renaissance wax on bronze coins as olive oil is too acidic.
If you want to get really technical you can investigate Degussa Vestowax EH100.
