Default New F-S Website

Greetings Boys & Girls,

For those collectors who have interests beyond just insignia and that perhaps move into Commando and/or the Fairbairn Sykes Knife, I just want to announce that I have just launched a new website:

www.fsknife.com

I will continue to run my original website (www.wilkinsonfscollection.com) but as it's now ten years old and no longer supported, it's time to start moving into a new updated format.

It will take a while for me to transfer over/and update all my article on this topic but I guess I have to start somewhere.

Anyway, if this topic is of interest, feel free to check it out and any questions, always happy to hear form you.

Cheerio and happy collecting,

Roy

Thanks for that mate.

The old site was/is something I really enjoy. Sadly is has been unsupported for many years, so one or two glitches have started to creep in, so a new site was always on the cards.

I'm enjoying re-writing/updating my articles and building the new site, although if I'm honest, it's a little daunting.

Cheerio,

Roy

Always a good site - well done on updating, I can imagine very daunting; but well worth it to preserve research as technology develops. I wonder how may folks can still access records they kept in Lotus 1-2-3? ...

Thanks Chap,

Really appreciate all your kind words and encouragement.

Yea, a lot to do. Many of my article I wrote ten years ago now and as my research and study has continued, there is more to add, so re-writing the articles is important to update that information and make is current.

I also have a large quantity to Wilkinson's original documents (scans) that have now long been destroyed, as I work through them, this give me more information to add and share.

But it's a really huge topic and I suspect is going to be life works. I thought I would be all done by the time I reached fifty. That was 30 years ago and I"m now 55 and still have so much to do. Keeps me busy though..

Cheerio,

Roy
