But this is only about 11th right? Others regiments of hussars use scarlet as far as I see...in fact I saw a great thread about caps in other forum (warrelic) where you can see the difference of colour between a 11th hussar cap and a QRH and QRIH one..

And these caps belongs to a member called Bobs who has a real great collection! (I added this in order to give the sources...I dont want people think I am an images thief!)

You are Jerry B??? What a nice surprise! I was thinking about contact you in there to ask you about a MP cap that I have with an interior construction really similar to one you show in warelic forum (your cap is a 1922 pattern queens royal regiment) when I back home in christmast I will pictured the cap and open a thread about it (I dont want to make mine this thread about your beautiful hussar cap)...let me show you my cap just for a moment and when I open the thread (with more pictures) I hope to have your opinion!

Queens Own Hussars no1 cap was red
Queens Royal Irish Hussars was red
Queens Royal Hussars - red

Royal Hussars was maroon
14th 20th Hussars was red
Kings Royal Hussars - maroon

13th 18th Hussars was blue with a white top
15th 19th Hussars was red
Light Dragoons - red
