Default denbighshire or not?

sold as denbighshire (imperial yeomanry) hussars and I assume it is, and I think it is genuine with gaunt tablet and quality made.

but is it denbighshire and is it a cap badge or a collar or possibly from a slouch hat rosette?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

whatever the outcome, it is a lovely badge.
