Default 3rd Bn Monmouthshire osd rough cast

a rough cast osd for the 3rd Mons.

Not see a fake cast example with blades so I assume even though its a bit rough it is genuine?

thank you Eddie.

I have seen badges for some of the smaller welsh units, Monmouthshire, Brecknockshire & Montgomeryshire which have similar characteristics as this, a bit rough and unfinished after casting that have been considered to be genuine, I have seen some in albums on here and for sale on dealers site.

Obviously you are the recognised most knowledgeable for the regiment and at least it was cheap for the osd (though too much for a copy/fake) and will suffice as a gap filler until something better can replace it.
