Default Possible Die Flaw to RFC Cap Badges ???????

Hi Gents,
I was just having a look at the Great War Forum or to be prescise
the section on uniforms and Cap Badges etc, Where I discovered a post titled
Royal Flying Corps Capbadge. It may be worth members who collect R.F.C. to
have a look at the post as it is possible one of the G.W.F.members may have stumbled upon a die flaw on restrike badges.
I do hope I am not ruffling any feathers by mentioning another forum site but I did think it was important enough for our members to be fully informed of any new developments on restrikes etc. Andy.

HI Andy, Would that be the connecting piece between I think the top of the "F" and the underneath of the crown.

Simon
P.S.
I gave up trying to get on the GWF, even though I signed up it never let's me get on and see content....

Hello Simon,
R.F.C. badges not being my thing, but the gist of it appears to be
that there is a small rectangle between the top of the letter F and the bottom of the crown.aparently the rectangle does not appear on genuine items.
I am sorry about not providing a link to the post in question but I am not sure if that is allowable Andy.

Looks good to me, but I'm no "ex" guru... I wouldn't say no to it.
