On the topic of the WWII association between the ILH and the KR, the LHR still wear a single small Kimberley regt button to hold the lanyard.

Seems we have a Pixley Seme st in Jo'burg now; Sauer St has been renamed. Apparently he had something to do with the founding of the ANC
