Default 1st Armoured Regiment - Vietnam period cloth patch

1st Armoured Regiment - Vietnam period unofficial cloth patch.

These were worn mostly on flight suits which the tank crews wore at night. This practice by RAAC APC and Tank crews of wearing flight suits at night continued to about the early 1990s.

Reproductions of this patch can be currently be found on ebay.

Mick, That version came into being in 1970. It was a variation of the previous one that featured an arabic 4. SGT I.K.(Big Robbie) Robinson was the designer/alterer. He also painted the troop sign on each of the 4 Troop tanks, about 12" square.
