Hi again, it's been a while but another load of military badges have come my way. Could anybody tell me what this is please, my guess is general service but it looks old

Just so we all know as usual, I make no secret about the fact I trade in badges rather than collect, I hope this avoids offence

Officers bronze cap badge for the General List or General Service Corps, judging by it's size I would say WW2 period
