SAS Wine and Australian DFA Port
I saw in a recent post a bottle of Prince of Wale's Own table wine - just thought I'd share these three with you. The 1983 Macon Superieur is empty ( drank it with my Dad on his 70th Birthday ) - the other two are full but probably not drinkable anymore. I also have a sealed pottery flagon of Port celebrating the Inaugural Year of the Australian Defence Force Academy which I think was 1986? Cheers Tim

A bottle I have (well, got two of them, picked at Kakadu Winery in 2003).
Mango wine, I think it is, I'm sure it's aged well over 16 years but I won't be drinking it. |

Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment
I'm not sure if this is the one you meant that started this, which I posted recently; to commemorate the Battle of Albuhera.
Kind Regards, Pete. |

Here's one of mine - School of Armour Sergeant's Mess Dining In night - 18th November, 1989.
Still unopened. I reckon being port it should still be drinkable. Mick

And since today is the 102nd anniversary of the Charge of Beersheba, here's a bottle of port put out by the School of Armour in 2017 to commemorate the centenary of the charge.

Is the spelling 'dinning' deliberate and, if so, why is that? Cheers, Phil
