Default Badge identification

I wonder if anyone would have any information on this badge. I think that, although it has the initials BB on it, it is not a Boys’ Brigade badge. The naval crown and Britannia motif suggest a Royal Navy item. Any views would be much appreciated.

Thank you for this. Following your suggestion I found a badge from the Britannia Beagles with a similar crown and lettering font.

Default Badge Identification

I can indeed confirm that this is a badge for the Britannia Beagles - the Beagle pack kept at the Britannia Royal Naval College at Dartmouth. Hence the Naval Crown. I spent many a happy Saturday afternoon chasing the beagles around the South Devon countryside when I was training there in the late-1970s. I don't think they ever caught anything and I seem to recall that it was generally an excuse to consume a great quantity of alcohol!
