Does it exist?
Not sure such a beastie exists, but would anyone happen to have a looped example of a bi-metal, other ranks, pre-1924, Queen's Royal West Surrey, cap badge, with voids either to the foreleg area, the tail area, or both, please? By 'looped', I mean at point of manufacture, and not with loops (obviously) added at a later stage to a previously non-looped badge.
If any are out there they might looks something like one of the following three manipulated images below: Surrey 1a.jpg With thanks, JT |

My two looped versions do not have voids in the mentioned areas. Regards, Paul.

I'm attempting to ID/catalogue existing variants of this pattern. I strongly suspect said badge does not exist. Your reply is very much appreciated. Thank you. All the best, JT |
