Default WW2 Badge & Lapel insignia

Hi. Hope you are all well?
Could anybody give me any information on these badges which are on a WW2 Battledress blouse? Thank you

Badge/medal on pocket is a pocket badge of the 1st Reconnaissance Regiment, 1st Polish Corps.

From IWM :
"Metal badge featuring a yellow Maltese cross. In the centre of the cross is a white metal, roman helmet with hand painted yellow dots."
