Default Canadian Parachute Corps Badge

Hey guys...

I need an opinion on this badge. If it turns out to be no good...it's going back home. I searched the forum but didn't see the same badge.

That is really awful, I am very surprised to think anyone would attempt to sell that as an original, get your money back!

Plus it was verified by a well known dealer here on the east coast.

I think it would be a good idea to start a rogues gallery of known fakes and pin it.

LOL, would that be list of badges or "rogue" dealers?

Well, could do both but that could get messy with litigation, etc.

Yes we have gone through the issue of dealer ratings/reviews. The dealer list had to be removed.
It is fine to dis badges. There is concrete evidence can be substantiated. But when applied to dealers all kinds of legal issues arise.
To keep the post on topic, the badge is a repro.

No offense intended to anyone as we can't know everything... these English fakes are commonly available and have been discussed extensively on many online venues and yet people still don't know they are bad. It just surprises me a bit. Even with all the information available these days it goes to show that even poor fakes can be a lucrative venture for dishonest individuals. It's a shame.
