Try the UK women's magazine "The Lady". They used to have ads for families looking for nannies and au pairs.

I live in Bristol, but Mrs H may object to me inviting a 21yr old French girl to stay! There are a huge number of student lets around my area, which is close to both UWE and the MoD in Filton. Or is she looking for something nearer to the center of town (Clifton is looking for more millionaires).
