Default The King's Royal Hussars all gold finish badge?

Gents

Who would wear this all gold finish new (improved) metal badge? It is a very different shape to the black and gold badge of the King's Royal Hussars, in a/a and new metal, that I am familiar with.

Thanks for any help.
Mark

It is worn on the KRH berets. It came in circa 2007. I asked a KRH officer about the change from the black one (which is still worn on the No 1 Dress cap) and he attributed it to a new CO's decision.

A nice looking well detailed modern cap badge.

Gents
Thanks for all the information. From a design point of view though I think I prefer the black and gold version. Maybe the new CO was an avid Walt Disney fan.

Anyway all sorted and I do appreciate the assistance as usual.
