RTR Officer in 1942
A light hearted quiz for a hot summers day.
This photo was taken in 1942, when the subject was an officer in the Royal Tank Regiment. After the war, and back on "civvy street", this man became a well known "face" on tv in the 1960s and 1970s. Does anybody recognise him?

Jack Hargreaves it was.
I was amazed to see that some members knew who it was right away. If I had not just read his book I would not have had a clue. Here is the cover of the book, with a much more recognisable photo of Jack. The book is named after his 1960s "country" prog, although he was later one of the panel in "How".
