Default RTR / RTC for opinions

Got this little lot today and not sure about a couple of them. Any opinions welcomed.

I didn't pay much for them as I wanted them to stick them in a frame for a display.

Thanks in advance.

The J&Co Tank Corps looks like a nice OSD collar badge.
Cheers,
Alex

Collar badge Tank Corps J&Co as mentioned, good
Collar badge RTR/RTC good
Buttons and shoulder titles, good
Queens crown RTR, good, looks by the tarnishing to be a silver plated Officers.
Arm badge Gilding metal on black backing 60's, good, preceded the gold anodised badge for the overseas dress, can't remember the number of that dress?
Tank arm badge, post WW1, heavily faked, so unsure.
RTR kC, slider cap badge, unsure
RTR KC loops, looks ok, need a second opinion.
Hope this helps

Chris

Is the RTC a collar? I didn't know they had a large collar badge.

Hi Bill, the J&Co badge is a standard officers badge with blades replaced with lugs. The R facing is problematic, it has been reworked from an original badge- note the track spuds are very detailed whilst the rest is rather worn. These badges were reputedly worn by depot staff. The KC L facing is a JR Gaunt officers possibly wartime. The QC is private purchase JR Gaunt, the earliest I have is marked JR Gaunt London, this is a fat crown so post 1960, hope this helps Mike

Thanks for the superb replies.

I actually thought I'd bought a load of duds but for £20 I think I've done OK.

I did have my reservations about the FL RTC badge as I have an original and the slider is attached to the tank, not the crown but wasn't sure if they come with it attached there too. I also wasn't 100% sure about the tank arm badge.

Some nice badges there too Alan

Thanks again for your help.

Bill
